about me

​

I am a experienced Concept and Animation Artist, producer of an award winning independent 3D animation project ‘The Mad Taxi Drive.’ - this project was awarded two prizes - winner of the SIT WETA Digital Award for Outstanding Animation in 2017 and the 2017 Southsure Most Ambitious Film Award.  I was also winner of the Freshnet Original Novel Prize for 2008.  I have also illustrated for four years for Freshnet horror novels and these had the highest circulation in 2007 for Freshnet.  In 2010 I was awarded the Annual Excellent Employee Award in King Soft for my team player and leadership qualities.

I’m qualified with a Fine Art diploma, majoring in animation from the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute and I have just completed a Graduate Diploma (Level 7) in 3D animation from the Southern Institute of Technology (NZ).  

 

I am a good communicator and I have strong social and interpersonal skills. I am fluent in Chinese and English.And now I am working as illustrator and animator in Maui studios in Christchurch.

the First project I have completed in Maui studios

 

I was one of the main artist for this AR comic project in Maui studios. Since then I have started to fall in love with Maori culture. And I am really proud of our awesome team.
